Not long now until we host our Player Protection Forum and Workshop in London. Last Thursday our MD, Paula, attended the Gambling Commission launch of their new three year strategy to Reduce Gambling Harms. Here’s her summary of the day….
The Gambling Commission has published the new National Strategy to Reduce Gambling Related Harms. This three-year strategy aims to drive and coordinate work to bring a lasting impact on reducing gambling harms. No doubt this will prove to be a major focus of discussion at our Player Protection event in May.
Player protection will feature large in the new National Strategy to Reduce Gambling Harm. This will be published by the Gambling Commission on the 25 April. For a further insight we hand over to our chair for the Player Protection Forum, David Clifton….
Just four weeks to go now to the Player Protection Forum on 22 May, which I am greatly looking forward to chairing.
The Player Protection workshop on the 23rd of May will deliver a number of fundamental learning outcomes. A greater knowledge of regulatory expectations and how, as an operator you can ensure you meet and exceed these expectation is but one of these outcomes.
