UK Gambling Commission to open next KnowNow Conference

We’re delighted to announce that Ian Angus from the UK Gambling Commission will be opening our 2nd Annual Responsible Marketing for Gambling Operators conference.

Ian presented his Regulatory Review at the October 2018 Responsible Marketing for Gambling Operators. His speech included the following message to holders of operating licences granted by the Commission:

About Ian Angus, Gambling Commission.

Ian Angus is the Gambling Commission’s Programme Director for Consumer Protection and Empowerment. Ian joined the Commission in 2013 and has led on significant programmes of work with the Competition & Markets Authority, the Advertising Standards Authority and the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Before joining the Commission Ian spent over ten years working for various public and charitable bodies, including the Office for Security and Counter Terrorism and the Department for Communities and Local Government. Ian has also worked for a Member of Parliament and has extensive experience of local government.

Ian holds a degree in Political Theory & Government from Swansea University and a Masters degree in International Studies from the University of Birmingham.

Ian’s interests include current affairs, literature and sport. He is a season ticket holder at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
