Exposure to Gambling Marketing.

Exploring Exposure: insight on the volume, tone and format of gambling marketing exposed to children, young people and vulnerable adults.

Recent trends point to an increase in spend on gambling advertising.  Steven Ginnis pulls together findings from across seven strands of research which explore the nature of exposure to gambling marketing. This includes using online avatars to assess programmatic ads, social media analysis to explore engagement with gambling content, and content analysis to review specific features of ad content. The findings challenge some of our current assumptions about appeal and exposure among vulnerable groups.
