About Stephen McCarthy.

Stephen is Chief Executive Officer at Malta Digital Innovation Authority.

He graduated with a B.A. Honours in Accountancy from the University of Malta. He has been working with different local companies in various sectors such as the manufacturing, service, property development and gaming industries. Stephen also held the position of Financial Controller of Bigpoint International Services Limited a company involved in social games, for four years. Furthermore, Mr. McCarthy served for five years as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Union Print Company Limited and two years as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Untours Insurance Agency Ltd. Recently, Mr. McCarthy was involved in the social area, where for five years he served as CEO of the Malta Housing Authority.
