Where can this go next?
First panel of the day we focused on Open Banking Myths.
Our first panel of the day we trusted William Mace, Safer Gambling Consultant, to moderate a panel with the following:
Jeremy Lever, Head of Gaming and Accountancy, Armalytix.
Tom Eaves, Head of Operations, ClearStake.
Toby Sucharov, Chief Tech Officer, Yaspa.
No easy task but William rose to the occasion, kept order and ensured a great dialogue throughout. The discussion tackled one of the industry’s biggest misconceptions: open banking isn’t about handing operators a raw data dump of every transaction. Instead, the real value lies in creating proportionate, intelligent insights, giving operators just enough information to assess risk responsibly without overwhelming them or alienating customers. These insights can not only protect players and meet compliance needs but also improve conversion, cut manual document checks, and even identify sustainable high-value customers. The message was clear: the opportunity is as commercial as it is regulatory.

Grainne Hurst, CEO, Betting and Gaming Council takes the stage. A great way to kick start the afternoon session.
